The McKinley/O’Loughlin/Bidle Anatomy & Physiology An Integrative Approach text brings multiple elements of the study of A&P together in ways that maximize understanding. This books comes bundled with an access code for Connect, which is an online portion of the book. This was required for my online anatomy class. The entire book is also on the website so if an actual book is not important to you, all you really need is the Connect Access card. This Connect card costs $150 on its own and is only good for one registration.My point is that if you are renting this book and the Connect code is required for your class, you may be wasting your money. If it doesn't come with the card, you will be paying money to rent the book but you will still have to buy the code separately as well. My school had a couple of cards for purchase in the bookstore in the case of people who bought their book used or rented it.
The book itself weighs a ton. I don't think I've ever had a textbook quite as heavy. Overall the book seems nice though and the online Connect portion is really helpful. You can purchase a loose-leaf version of this book from the Connect website and as mentioned before, the entire book is also on the website.

It was in terrible condition through rental program. I hope they take it back without charging me. It's almost falling apart at the spine!
It arrived on time and it’s just like my Netter’s anatomy book, except you can color! It’s not what I expected, it’s way better. It’s a really thick book, very complete, has exactly everything from the original textbook. Comes with instructions and guides on how to use it/color it. I recommended it to my fellow classmates. Perfect for first-year students!
Awesome online resources with this book! You can do dissections and peel away layers and see exactly what you want. The book also helps direct you and find things you need instead of wasting valuable study time just searching for answers aimlessly in a textbook.
Bought this for a class for next semester so I have yet to utilize it. But I have thumbed through it and must say I like the layout and visuals. I am a very visual learner and many text books have one or two pictures of what their talking about and I feel as if I do not fully grasp what is being described. This shows a very thorough process- or at least it seems to me having only just opened the book a few times and have yet to apply it to my class.
Brand new book! Way cheaper than the current edition. My school decided to go with the Open Staxx A&P book since it was cheaper, but our notes still match up to this book. I was so happy I was able to find one on !
I bought this book to supplement the lectures for A&P I/II. The text was very informative and easy to read. I used this book to review for the HESI A2 and TEAS VI an entire year after taking the classes, and it was a huge help. I bought the book used, saving a lot of money, and it was in great condition. I will definitely be referencing this book over the years.
Average textbook. It was a required textbook. The text is full of inaccuracies and is vague in it's interpretations. I used other texts and google to supplement this text. The professor stated that this was the best option of all the A&P textbooks they reviewed, but he didn't prefer it. He stated that it was full of inaccuracies as well and frequently had to correct the text in his lectures. I had to fight when I missed points on an exam because the text was incorrect. Luckily, the professor admitted that the text was incorrect gave credit for knowing the material from the text. Sadly, the text information is wrong!! There are better texts out there. The only rewards from briefly owning this text is that I learned something and I'm selling it back for more than I paid for it.
