I couldn't put it down. Fast-paced, this book was an easy read with some unexpected twists woven into a good plot.
This was definitely a quick read! I would recommend it, it was fluid, pretty easy to follow, and all in all written well.
The premise of the story was interesting and I didn't see the twist coming. I thought there were too many characters to keep track of and they often showed up without introduction or back story.
SPOILER ALERT I hated the ending! I felt like the detective having a "girlfriend" was not integral to the story and added very little to his character. So the fact that the story ended with him walking in to a possible threesome situation was a total WHAT?!? moment for me. It seemed scandalous just for scandal's sake. If it had ended when the detective redeeming himself by saving the girl and was being offered a new job that would have been a lot more satisfying.
